Every year I strive to work with local models on a project titled “Breast Book.” This simple coffee table book of 30-50 pages that contain information as well as an artistic approach to women’s breasts. The goal of the book is not to be pornographic in nature but to get people to pick up the book and read about breast cancer and how they can help either themselves or their loved ones be more aware of the signs and symptoms of Breast Cancer.

Recently I unexpectedly lost my Mother to an aggressive strain of Melanoma cancer and from first hand experiences I can see what cancer does to a person as well as to their family. I would never wish the loss of a loved one from cancer whether its prostate or even breast cancer.

With the help of local models, or the average women who may want to contribute her bust to this cause, and the backing of the Komen for the Cure foundation as well as several local cancer treatment centers, this book has a great chance to be successful in teaching others about Breast Cancer.

This leather-bound hard cover book will go on sale October this year, in time for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with all proceeds being donated to Komen for the Cure. With that a, special release of the book will go up for auction at the end of October that will contain extra photographs from the shoots as well as autographs from all models involved in the project. The proceeds from the auction would also be donated to Komen for the Cure.
